If you land at Gimpo airport, congratulations, you are already in Seoul! Getting to most key areas of the city is as easy as hopping on the subway. In fact, Gimpo Airport is one of the most interconnected stations in Seoul, with a whopping 5 interconnecting subway lines. One of those 5 lines is the Airport Express (aka. AREX or 공항철도), which is the same line travelers take to get to Seoul from Incheon Airport. If you take the last section of that Airport Express route, you can get to Hongdae or Seoul station, where you can transfer to subway lines 2 and 1, respectively.
